MIX COPENHAGEN started in 1986 and is now one of the world's oldest LGBTQ+ film festivals and the leading LGBTQ+ film festival in the Nordics.

We are a voluntary association run by passionate LGBTQ+ film lovers who spend our free time making MIX COPENHAGEN a spectacular event not only for the LGBTQ+ environment, but also for the whole of Copenhagen and far beyond the city limits. Our goal is to show a wide range of films that bend gender and break sexual boundaries, influence the gender debate and reflect a diverse world.

In 2023, the festival takes place 20 to 29 October, with screenings in Cinemateket and Empire.
